We are a carpentry and renovations firm located in Teignmouth, South Devon. We operate throughout the South West of England, working to exceed customer expectations and to provide an outstanding service.

GTWORKS realise that you and your project are unique. Each job is tackled with open eyes, ears and minds, to help you achieve what you desire. We appreciate that everybody leads a busy life, so our initial visit to tackle your job in hand is normally carried out in the evening.

The key to the creation of a strong foundation for any relationship is honesty, trust and respect. To achieve this our pricing is clear, so there are never any nasty surprises. If we are unable to do something or if anything comes up you will be informed.

Greg

Director/carpenter/multitrade

Having served as a carpentry apprentice, Greg was taught the traditional methods of working with wood and all modern materials. During that time Greg gained experience in a variety of building trades and trained in plastering, plumbing and block work. Since then Greg has worked on many sites (small and large) including new builds, refurbishments and maintenance works. Greg has an excellent ability to problem solve and everything is always completed to a high standard.

After a number of years ‘working on the tools’, Greg progressed to building management and trained as a Quantity Surveyor, a Contracts Manager and lastly a Building Surveyor. Greg continued practicing his skills working on a number of freelance projects to fulfil a wish to operate his own business.

Steph

Carpenter/multitrade

Steph joined GTWORKS in 2017 as an apprentice. She completed her apprenticeship with us and now has her NVQ 2 and NVQ 3 in Site Carpentry with distinctions and is working towards her HNC Sustainable Construction and Site Supervision.

Steph gets stuck in with every aspect of the work we do, from tiling to block work and plumbing. There is nothing she won't have a go at.

Steph is a valued member of the GTWORKS team, is keen, enthusiastic and has great attention to detail.
